Same - ringing daily.

It is a charity organisation called Phoenix and are selling lottery tickets for the Port Adelaide Football Club. They will take no for answer if you decide to pick up.

I don't know who they are.
They continue to call me - 6+ times a week on my mobile (self employed work phone)and landline (personal/ private home).
I have asked them to remove me from their calling log after telling me I am not interested, but they continue to call me at anytime during daylight hours.
Really annoying!

Perhaps take a minute out of your obviously very exciting lives to politely answer and politely decline. These people are obviously just trying to do their job. We're starting to sound like a bunch of whinging poms. Try being a pleasant person for a change and I'm sure they won't continue to call.

Had the same. After reading this I contacted the Pt Adelaide Football Club and asked them to remove my number. Havent had one since. I highlighted the fact that this forum existed and that perhaps they modify their practises.

the are very bloody annoying I have them ringing on my mobile but what I do is program the number in your mobile or home phone under don't answer
so when they do ring that you know is ringing you

these people are bloody leaches they don't know how to get the message that we not interested
iv have now program the number (08) 8168 1238 in my phone book don't answer in my phone so I know when they ring it comes up on my screen don't anwer so I know its them calling

I believe legitimate charities and some organisations are exempt from the "Do Not Call" register, and this would likely include Australian Rules Football clubs.

If they continue to pester you, you can report them to the Australian Communications & Media Authority. They are the ones who manage the "Do Not Call" register. If you have identified to them that you are not interested and to not contact you again, then they should remove you from their call lists.

keeps ringing every few days i miss the call when i go to ring back it just drops out

Ticket Sellers! Dont bother trying to call them back.

Called me this morning when I answered went ugh! And hung up in my ear. Getting sound like fax machine when I call back. I'm also on do not call register but it doesn't seem to stop a lot of these calls. Now have a whistle by the phone, hope they call again so I can use it.

I got a call today from them too - no message and when I tried to ring back I got an engaged signal too...thanks for saying who they are!

Get calls on a regular basis, I believe there are a company acting on behalf of charities requesting donations

have this number marked as port adelaide footy club and they want donations/ or sell tickets for them. I dont even follow the footy! leave me alone.

This is a business that sells on behalf of others. They have called me trying to sell tickets for Phoenix, the Adelaide Football Club and Port Adeliade Football Club despite me being on the do not call register. I'm writing to each of these organisations wanring them that if I receive another call from this annoying telemarketer I will never support them in any way again and I'm complaining to the do not call register too. I encourage everyone else to do the same.
