Just got a call from them now, no message and I couldn't call back - that pisses me off :/

they are still at it, I got a missed call on my home ph from this number, no message left. don't know what they were ringing about.

Definitely Phoenix Society who probably sourced your number from you agreeing to purchase lottery tickets from them in the past. Cut them some slack, they're a valid organisation providing a worthwhile service to the community.

This has nothing to do with Telstra, I'm with Vodafone and get the same thing. Sadly, we can't blame telstra for everything that's wrong with world.

phone rang from this no. once today and several times in the past. tried calling back and get the disconnection tone on the other end. WTF? telstra keep it up and i will be changing providers

I just got a call from them on my mobile they asked for my husband when I said he wasn't here they hung up.... Weird considering my husband has a total different number

I have had the same thing today - this number rung twice in 5 minutes. I missed the first call but when it rang the 2nd time, I answered it, they hang up. Tried to ring back get cut off. Hope I don't start getting them constantly.

Yes it is the Phoenix Society, they resource lotteries from a wide range of charities. You will never get through on the number that is displayed so dont bother trying. They will call you back eventually.

I had 2 missed calls from (08) 8168 1200 earlier today and they didn't leave a message, I tried to call back and got a weird dial tone. They just called be back and said it was the Adelaide Football Club. They keep ringing me every 6 months to try and get me to sell raffle tickets??

This is not Phoenix Society in SA their number is (08) 8116 2100 and this is only for their Phoenix Gepps Cross office. All other numbers for this charity in SA are different.

Yep, called me twice yesterday. Seems that any charity etc that you may have donated to, or even contacted, in the past has sold their list of numbers to countries far far away.

I have had a number of phone calls from this phone no. No msg left, disconnected signal when you call back. Get a life people!
