Red Cross Blood Bank makes sense. I would make an appointment but I am away this week. I don't mind them calling because it is a good cause.

More than happy for the Blood Bank to call and I appreciate the reminders - but it would be really handy if they just left a message when the call's not answered rather than me having to surf the internet to see whether it's a legit call, or I'm being stalked.

Red Cross do a lot of good work and I give thumbs up that cause.
Thumbs down to the consist hanging up in my ear at work. The wasted resources that would be better off helping that kid with leukemia needing plasma.
I can't give blood. (Wish I could, as it is a noble thing for the public to help that way. )
They are aware of this and yet, always calls. Charity or not. There is NO excuse for harassment.
I STOP giving to charities that CHOOSE use the harassment method to gather donations.

Should have left a message. That's what voicemail is for! However, it is on my record that I cannot donate for 6 months. Communication between administration and the donor centre needs to improve so resources are not continiously wasted

This too might be scammers hiding under the cloak of charity in order to dupe people into revealing their account details.

I have anxiety about the phone and only answer calls I know. Why can't they at least leave a message and I may answer next time, otherwise it's just annoying

C'mon pal, it's a necessary harrassment. I understand a few hours sleep is great but tell that to a kid with leukaemia needing plasma...

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE CONTACTED BY THE BLOOD SERVICE - Answer their next call or phone 13 14 95 and ask to be "taken off service"

(The Austraian Red Cross Blood Service) If you have been contacted by this number and no longer wish for it to call you need to call 13 14 95 and tell them - chances are you are registered as a blood donor and they are calling for your help again

I'm glad they call. I often forget about my appointments and I can organise one on the spot.

I did not appreciate being woken up at 4.49am, as I am overseas. No message was left which is rude and extremely unprofessional . I spent the next couple of hours worrying about sick relatives. Red cross phone calls are harassment
