I rang back asking who he was, only answered with hello and asked me who I was! He said he’s name is Lee Anderson? He had partial details about an accident I had. Said I have a large compensation claim owed. Next thing I get a call from legal firm in Adelaide saying they’re going to be handling the claim for personal injury. I want to know who the original caller is, how he has access to details and what is in it for him. No one spends half hour on phone and making the connection to lawyers via email for my benefit and no gain for them!

Definite scam blocked and reported..Its really a good effort on their behalf though, because there is always a good chance someone in your home has been involved in an accident. I dont answer these calls ever. I then turn off my own caller ID and return the call...sure enough, one of two things happen. This number has been disconected or options to speak to someone involving your recent insurance claim. A year or so ago I let this one man go on and on, giving him the run around asking who gave my name though, and then I said OMG did that lady die. He said no no no, she is fine this is just a follow up to make sure we have all your details.. I replied of course she is fine because I never friggen had an accident and she doesnt even exist.. He hung up..No surprises there.

Caller: "Terry" Definite SCAM. Caller identified himself as Terry and told me he was calling about an accident I had had in the last 12 months. I asked "which one?" he answered "The one where you were hit by another car". I answered with another question, "Yes but which accident, what place?" He answered the one that occurred in Adelaide" (I suppose he thought he had a chance of guessing right). At this point I told him I haven't been in Adelaide and that I was reporting his number as a scammer, he quickly hung up.

Just picked up the call from this number, automated service asking me to press 1 if I've been involved in an accident. SCAM! The number is now blocked from calling me again.

Possible SCAM!! When i called this number back, they didn't announce their business name but a recording referred to my claim number and insurance claim, recent accident etc. I haven't had an accident recently. I believe this to be a scam.
