Spam call about gas bills. I questioned where they got my details as I don’t have a gas bill. They then argued the point that most adults have a gas bill, how can I not have a gas bill, and I must be lying.
Definitely not going to get a ‘sale’ out of me by accusing me of lying.

This is the 4th call within 2 weeks from the same company with similar numbers (08 6555 6....).

I called back number (08) 6555 6896 reached IVR for Reliable Deals.

Massive constant spamming from this number, and a whole set of WA 08 6555 numbers.

Don't answer, block caller, repeat until they give up (possibly never)

Receiving calls from this number, quick google and found this thread. Blocked the number.

They didn’t say anything when I answered so I hung up & blocked the number. Have had a number of calls from very similar numbers over the past couple of weeks...

Unsolicited cold call. Trying to get you to switch energy companies.

Caller: Someone with a fantastic 38% gas discount deal

Caller said as of 1st July 2019, government is deregulating the gas industry, as such 38% discount will be the norms from most gas companies. But I am already on 38% discount!!!! Of course I didn't tel him that. Then he asked which gas company I am with, he even know my first and last name, not my middle name though. When I told him I can't tell him which gas company I am with, he went berserk and kept chanting "Oh my god, Oh my god, Oh my god...you mean to tell me name of gas company you are with is confidential?" Now, which gas company will train their customer representative to chant that? That is a sure case of scammer trying to get more private information out of people. I responded with, "No, it is not my god, buy your god". Subsequent to that he just hung up. People, please don't be fool by this seemingly cheap stunt. Simple thing like name of gas company can be used to slowly build up your profile and eventually to impersonate you.

Came through on my phone listed as a potential fraud call... have blocked this and other 08 6555 ... numbers as well. It calls my work phone which I know shouldn't be on any contact list outside the company.
