I put them on my block list for about two months and they still call. Sometimes several times a day. How do I report this as I see it as harrasment? Today I actually answered their call in the hope of asking them to take me off their call list, but they just hung up !!!

I will report these people to the federal police if they don't stop, it's ridiculous ring and then hang up, doing this on a daily basis and im sick of it.

How annoying! I was busy doing something. Had to walk to the phone, and they hung up. Meals on wheels have no valid reason to be ringing me? PESTS. If it is meals on wheels, they are giving themselves a bad reputation...

Ring at in appropriate times and ring persistently. No-one at other end of the line when they ring.

I get calls from both (08) 6444 4812 which is meals on wheels and (02) 8188 6947 which is freedom insurance. Both continually call...
Solution: On most phones you can add them to a blocked list so calls won't come through. I have a Nexus 4, google has a support network that describes how to block numbers. I also blocked both numbers on a friend's Samsung S2 as they also received annoying phone calls

Rang off before I could answer or check caller ID. For many years now I haven't been giving money by phone nor responding to any unsolicited phone approach. The charities have mostly given up and removed me from their lists, often after several requests. Now calls seem to be mostly incomplete calls probing for suckers and generating sucker lists to sell to other marketers and scammers, or seemingly random computer generated calls which switch to an operator if you respond. I've had some other similar 08 calls although I'm not sure they were from the same number. Oh and there's always the one about windows control centre calling about a problem they have detected with your computer. It must work sometimes! They keep trying.

Please stop calling me, if you want to contact me please leave a message and say who you are and what you want. I am tired of all your calls at night and weekends. Or preferably, write to me.

All genuine charities should leave a message saying something like, thankyou for your previous support, if you would like to help again please ring ********* etc. Those that don't I don't support anymore. It is harrassment to ring all the time and not leave a message. I wish I could get the home number for the manager at meals on wheels so I could ring them constantly and hang up!!

Having calls several times a week from this number. If we don't answer they don't leave a message. When I phoned the number today it was Meals on Wheels. What happened to our DO NOT CALL?

I'm in NSW. Don't know anyone with a 08 area code number so I don't answer. Give up whoever you are!
