Claimed they were from BayCorp - Unpaid fines registry.
But as I wouldn't confirm my personal details over the phone ie. Date of birth etc, they hung up on me.
Had a few of these phonecalls recently. Obviously a scam

Random call with a robo-voice stating that a legal claim is being held against you or something similar. Obviously a massive scam. No idea how our telcoms allow these scammers to use aussie phone numbers to try to rip people off.
