Says ANZ bank - I don't bank with them

Says commonwealth bank & $1800 bank transfer. Scam, scam, scam

Did not answer and checked number. No msg left.

Caller: Harry Wilson Amazon Customer Service

Called about IPhone order.

Unrecorded by phone log. Text said it was a missed caller who didn't leave a message.

Has called 3 times in 2 days saying they’re ANZ, no voicemail. Scam

Caller: My guess is like guessing how many sand is on a beach

I had a call from a number only one digit different (08) 6255 6934). It's a "spare" number and most of the scam calls I get are from random landline numbers in the afternoon, usually spare numbers. So it fits the pattern. But I no longer answer unknown landline calls as they're pretty much always scammers. It's common for them to use similar numbers only a digit or two different... it's all spoofed anyway, really the call comes from some boiler room call centre overseas and goes through an IP to phone server somewhere. You have no obligation to pick up the phone to ANYONE and half the time it's just criminals anyway.
If it was a legitimate business then their business name should have appeared on my phone screen

Says it's from Commbank and asked if I has done a payment of $1200

Said they were calling from PayPal Australia. Scam

I do not answer and no message left.

Someone claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank. When asked who they wanted to speak to, they hung up :)

100% scam. Pretend that there is fraudulent transactions in credit card account

said he was from commonwealth bank and i have a fraudulent $1800 transaction, when i said this wasn’t commonwealth banks number he said yes it is it’s the customer care line, i said no it’s not and that he’s probably a scammer and he hung up

10 seconds of silence and then the call terminated.

Caller: Said they were from Australian Cyber Security
