I called back the number (08) 6245 0459 but the phone just kept ringing

Caller: Australian Cyber Security division

this number called me & told me they were from an Australian Cyber Security division, advising me that my email had been hacked - I hung up

Called back, it disconnected with no answering......obviously didn't want to talk

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra scammer

Dunno why the Government goes ballistic about Optus or Medibank hacks when the national phone network can be hacked by off shore scammers easily and at will. If we do end up in conflict or war the other side can simply flood our phone system.

Caller: From “Perth”

Didn’t answer, they left a “message”. Listened to the message and it was a bunch of random noice. Scammers.

called with the number displaying it was from Perth. I was unable to answer it. Called back and kept indicating it was busy. Googled the number to find it here on this site as scam.

Called and didnt leave a message - number is listed as being in Perth

Caller didn't leave a message when I didn't pick up - likely scam.

Told me there were from Telstra in the NBN department. Yeah right.

called me many times I answered once, said from NBN, just hand up.

SCAM. They claim to be from NBN offering free upgrades. I don’t even have NBN

They will try to get you to download a security app on your phone to gain all of your details. Whilst pretending that they are doing it to "block hackers". I work in It and am pretty switched on so didn't fall for this. I am hoping no one does. Block and Ignore and move on.

Scammer after telling me I had an order through them, that I apparently ordered yesterday, I said I hadn’t ordered anything. They tried to confirm my name and address, I didn’t confirm, then tried to get me to go to their website to “help me with me being hacked” I laughed and hung up

Called saying they are Telstra but I don't have Telsta, as soon as I said that they hung up.

Called back number and just hung up. Suspect scam call.
