Called saying they were from the Australian Injury Claim Department about a car accident I had "some time ago"
Knew my name but kept asking me to confirm YES or NO about a car accident I had.
I asked what company they were working for and they would not tell me.
I asked for their ABN and he transferred me to his supervisor Eva.
I asked her for their ABN and ACN and she told me to shut-up and terminated the call.
NEVER say YES or NO on these calls as they are recording your voice!!

Same deal as the rest of the comments. I did have a recent car accident and he knew my full name, address and registration number of my car! He also knew the other parties personal details!
Told me that I am entitled to make a compensation claim for my injuries. I told him that I didn’t have any injuries and he told me to lie and say that I did!! He would get all the relevant doctors certificates and I wouldn’t need to do anything that they would do it all for me! I would get anywhere between 10-$55,000! His name was Jack smith and he was Indian lol I reported to police and my insurance company!

Hi, did u give your name, date of birth and address? If so, did u report the scammer to the authorities? Did any bad thing happened after disclosing your personal details?

First call from 0454 488 413 about car accident and CTP claim. When i hung up they tried calling again from (08) 6225 2260. SCAM!

Call asking about a car accident so I played along and got put through to 5 different people. The last one I was told I would get lots of cash for this. I told the guy his college told me he gives great Fellatio was that correct? he then go very angry and I just laughed and laughed at him until he hung up. Scam the samers

Similar to all of these. Just asked if I had a car accident in the last couple of years, said Ive never had one, And foreign guy just said ok and hung up. Rung myn landline number too with same spiel.

car accident, call again and again

I first received a call from a mobile number 0409 909 341, not sure where from (something to do with insurance), once I hung up they then called from this landline number. I asked where they were from and said it didn't matter - asked me if I was in a car accident I said know but my vehicle was and started demanding who was driving, hence me hanging up again.

at first I received a call from a mobile number 0401 550 327, said calling from an insurance company, will compensate my car damage, ask my personal info like date of birth, home address, then call me again use this landline number, said will compensate me $17,000 scam

Had my car accident details along with my rego number, also had the third party details!!!! Asked for my date of birth, home address to send me documentation to claim for my pain in the back without a medical. Could get 15,000 at this point got suspicious. if is too good to be true it normally is but how did they get all my information rego!!! Alliance said it was from them!!!

Scam about CTP insurance payout for a car accident. I had had one earlier in the year, so wasn't immediately wary. This number is linked to MANY other calls I received, each time with a different number, and area code.
