Called me asking for contact details about a friend of mine for an urgent issue. Im not about to hand out other's contact details to total strangers. Possible scam, or deceptive intent judging by below comments.

Received a call from this number who had the names of two of my family members. They said they needed to get in contact with them and asked for their numbers. Wouldnt say why except "personal matter" and a company in Perth. Felt like a complete Scammer. Did not provide the numbers and hung up immediately

I called back number (08) 6214 4342 reached voice mail for a company called Pioneer Credit.

Received call from this number who left a voice message asking me to call back regarding a neighbour. then a follow up sms from 0428 021 161 asking me to "contact Aaron as soon as possible regarding an important matter"

received call from this number, I did not answer it went to message bank and someone called Aaron was asking me for details of my neighbour in front. I did not call back.

Arron stop asking to peoples if they know they name,if they friend of etc etc name,you are scaring people.stop doing that asking and looking for people names.

Called from a Perth landline
I didn’t answer but they left a voicemail
Saying hi [my first and surname] and they are calling from a company in Perth [but did not specify]. Trying to get into contact with [full name including middle name of a Facebook friend] about an important matter. Requested a call back. I blocked their number.
Not sure how they had my mobile surname or my fb friends middle name as none of those details are available on fb. Disgusting, beware. If you answer tell them nothing and tell them where to go.

said he was from pioneer credit trying to get in contact with a fb friend of mine. I asked him where he got my number from and he said a social platform, i said obviously Facebook.
Said friend has nothing to do with Pioneer credit. Be careful

Same as everyone else, but i googled Pioneer Credit and rang the 1300 number and a lovely lady reassured me it was not a scam and if you could ask the friend in question to ring Pioneer credit back.

Same call details as per the others here. Aaron wouldn't divulge his company name. He called me looking for an ex-employee of mine who had left my company four years ago (Spet 2016). I have passed his details along to the ex-employee.

Called and left a message that he is looking for someone else, after reading all comments appears to be Pioneer Credit searching for any link they can to find debts they have purchased.

He called a friend of mine first and did not leave a message. He then rang me around 40 minutes later. He knew my first and last name (yes he got my first name from my voice message) but also knew my last name!! He then said that he had tried to ring my friend (knew my friends, first, middle and last name). Was waiting for my call as it was extremely urgent that he contact my friend. I did not ring back. But this was the number that was rung from as I saw it whilst it rang, then voice message came up. Aaron has not tried again. Very scary that he had that kind of information.

I called back (08) 6214 4342 and was advised that it was Pioneer Credit. The original call was asking if I knew a friend of a friend as they were trying to get her a message regarding as urgent personal matter. The only link I have to this person is we are friends on Facebook.

Called and left a message on both my home and mobile phone numbers. Said wanted to speak to me about my neighbours at (house number) Clayton or Debbie. I don't know these people, but they seemed to have both my contact numbers and house number.

Same as the previous comment, A person called Aaron phoned my workplace asking after a former colleague. Was unable to give me any reason for the call. Seemed a bit odd to me!

Received a call from this number - called showed from Perth Western Australia - asking whether I had a relative by the name of Sam - he pronounced my last name correctly! I said no and he thanked me for my time and hung up...

I received a call from this number saying "I am calling about a person you may know" Nick" i need to urgently get in contact with him. It said the call was being recorded
