Got a call from a person called Ariel asking me to confirm details and I refused. Instead, I asked him to give me details about myself and he got it wrong!! So a scammer!!!
The. Few days later, they managed to find my friend’s number and rang it asking her to pass a message to me. To call him back.
Never did!!

Rrung my mobile and hung up after 1 ring. Then I got the text about Serena. They had my first name spelt correctly. This is some wacky sh*t.

They tried to call earlier, and then sent a text saying, please contact Ariel on (08) 6214 2297 in relation to Ariel. Thank you
I don't know of any Ariel other than the little mermaid so I won't return a call for someone who doesn't make sense and wont leave a voicemail.

"Ariel", I think, thick accent, male, calling from "a company in Perth". They knew my name and assumed I lived in the next suburb and wanted to know if I knew my neighbour at No. 2. (I don't live near a no.2), regarding a personal matter.

I received a call from Chris who urgently needed to speak with my neighbour regarding an important matter! I guess I was just stunned that they had my address!!! Some really highly organised scammers!!

I had a call saying they were urgently trying to get a hold of one of my friends but the person they mentioned was only someone I had on my Facebook he wasn’t actually a friend. When I asked how then even had my number they said they got it from a national database.
Not sure what sort of scam they were trying to pull.

I rang once and got disconnected
