I called back number (08) 6214 2226 spoke to a guy but did nots ay for what company.

Some guy called Brian, saying he is "trying to get in touch with someone I may know named xxxx xxxx".

Has called multiple times in last week or so. Very persistent.

Caller asked me if I knew "John or Warren".. said they were associated with my address. The address he referred to was an apartment I lived in 10+ years ago. I had no idea who the people were but there were 40 apartments in that complex and never knew any of my neighbours. I questioned him about how he got my details. He said he worked for a financial institution and the database he was referencing was not available to people outside of the industry - I thought he somehow googled my old address and found my phone number linked to it. He confirmed that wasn't the case. Still a bit odd. My guess is he's chasing up old debts and reaaaaaaaally grasping at straws calling me on a hope and a prayer that I knew these people (by first name only) and would give up their current details.

Called and asked for a person who happens to have the same name as my daughters middle name which is very unusual and not a common name. Really weird
