Knew my first name - some dodgy scam

I had a missed call, no message left.
After reading other comments I will block this number

I received a missed phone call from (08) 6117 5864 on my private unlisted phone number and the automated message said that to ring PayPal regarding a $250 payment. I do not have a PayPal account so this is a scam.

Said it came from Perth - don't know anyone there, so didn't answer, looked at the number online, saw it was a scam and deleted it. I do this with every number I don't know.

Two missed calls but my phone didn’t even ring? Will block like everyone else

Getting this number calling me several times a day

it says they are some type of website development when I called back after seeing these comments I will also block this caller

Large gap from when I answered the phone so I asked them if they were a scammer! He asked me how I could tell!!! Said his name was Sam but I couldn't understand him. Foreign accent, so I hung up.

Automatically blocked by incoming spam filter. 3rd call this week.

Scammer who knew my name

Phishing scam using a spoofed caller ID. Called on public holiday for Queens passing so most likely an overseas scammer. Had a very thick Indian accent and claimed to be a website developer but asked if I would confirm my details. Just hung up on them. I called the number back to see if it was real or spoofed and got an automated robotic voice recording about web design. Unlikely to be an Australian based caller and unlikely to be legit.

Scam caller using fake caller ID. Sounded like identity theft scam by another Indian phone scammer.

Scammer. Calls from several similar numbers on a regular basis. Get a real job you f***ing low-life! Indian scum of course.
