Get calls everyday from "Telstra technical support". Happened in my previous residence then within 2 days of connecting phone and internet to new house with different phone number they started again. Claimed to have been getting notifications from my internet for weeks - had only had internet connected for 2 days after nearly 2 months without it!!

Get 13/14 calls daily. One gentleman asked me if I had a hairy pussy. I am so over them. Hung up when my husband answered the call - sometime I now just get Bollywood music playing. I have purchased a whistle which I will use next time they phone.

Said my internet was compromised and was hacked by hackers lol. Said my internet was going to be disconnected in two hours. Three hours later she called back, I asked for her number and she quoted the free call number. I told her she was a scamming Bitch and told her to eat a d*ck then I hung up.

After 7 calls in one day I answered, whistle in hand. An Indian female said she was from Telstra (surprise, surprise). I let have it and incredibly she was still on the line. I called her for everything, indicating that I knew she was not from Telstra and called into doubt her morals. Gee it felt good!. However, there has got to be something that can be done to stop this sort of crap from happening!

The Don Not Call register is the most impotent organisation that ever existed. I have made numerous complaints to them over cold calling real estate agents (in particular) for absolutely no result. In fact these calls are increasing!

A foreign-sounding female stated there may be problems with my internet connection. I didn't let her get too far before I told her to 'f*ck off!" End of that call!!

Call every day, several times a day. Never leave a message. Please stop these people whoever they are from continually calling.

Contact the DoNotCall Register and lodge an official complaint via their online form.
It may help to get Telstra or the Govt to take some action against them.

"Eva calling fromTelstra Technical department, we have noted that your internet is downloading viruses and other security risks." I don't think that is true, can you give me your Tesltra ID and a Telstra number to call you back. She hung up immediately.

We let the number ring out and answering machine cuts in to leave a message. They never doleave a message and it disconnects. Best solution out for the scammers . Let them waste their money and time.

At least 10 calls this week. Finally answered. Claimed to be Telstra (I knew they weren't) and told me my internet not working properly. I said it was. Asked how would I know? Asked them to prove they were Telstra. She said we know the special user code in your computer; open your computer and I will tell you where to find it!!! Told them they needed to speak with the account holder so call back later. (Adds to scam because Telstra always want to talk to him!) Decided to call Telstra to confirm my suspicion and gave the above number. Yes it is a scam number. Asked them to look into it to stop it.

Some time ago, Telstra told me I could block 15 numbers for free. After that, I would have to pay for each blocking. A week ago, I rang Telstra about this matter. They informed me that I could now block any amount of numbers, no limit, and they are all free. They gave me this phone number, which would take me direct to the blocking section of Telstra. It does work, I have used this number several times. I hope this helps everyone, from these blasted pests!! Oh, this applies to my home line. NOT my mobile, although it may also apply to mobiles, but I am not sure.
