Caller ID displayed number as (07) 5641 4383. Automated message threatening over arrest for unpaid taxes. The message says that "Local Cops" (not local police - "cops") will come and arrest you in the next 24 hours if you don't call the number back. About tax office investigation.

A threat to have 'The Cops' come to my house over a tax issue.

Received similar threat today at 3:30pm

Told me the ATO were going to get the cops to arrest me
The Asian voice was the first clue

ATO scam saying that you owe unpaid taxes and you’ll be arrested in 24hrs if ignored. Tried to call the number back for a bit of a laugh but seems like it has incoming call restrictions.

As other message stated- automated/robotic call (female voice) claiming to be ATO. Guess people must fall for this crap - but so not ATO not even funny.
