Claiming to be from Amazon prime, confirming that an amount has been charged to my account

Caller: Supposedly Amazon Prime

Scammer called to see if I’d authorised someone from Beijing, China to access Amazon Prime to the amount of $259.
Called them out for being a scammer, they hung up immediately.

Took $3,000 out of our account!!!!!!!! Screen recorded the whole thing SCAM

(07) 5641 1056 Called saying from EBay. And I had a charge for $299.99. And wanted to press extension for different actions. Automated voice. Arsehole scammers

Caller: Scammer - Claiming to be Coles, Sydney

Wanting to have phone particulars e.g. whether Apple or Android, and then to supposedly check to help me to ensure stoppage of bogus incorrect payment for item that I was otherwise getting billed for. Very evasive when questioned - Indian accent type male on other end of line.

Was already on my Blocked List via TrueCaller.

I highly recommend TrueCaller for Android !

TrueCaller for iOS / iPhone is unfortunately not as good, because Apple refuses to give the App all the needed permissions.

Jailbreaking might help with it, I guess (not an expert in it).

Missed the call and called back. Some guy claiming to be from Amazon Prime and that there was a query with my account. Said I didn't have an account and confirmed i didn't authorise anyone to make an account (??). He told me I'd have to cancel it and complete an online security form. I said I haven't been charged and will find it myself. He hung up.

i traced them back too Kolkata, an Indian city, they do the typical scam of pretending my amazon account was charged. they would attempt too get you too download any desk and they will "over pay" your refund, they actually hide the screen from you and inspect element your bank details. don't fall for this sh*t. just say you don't have pc or laptop and they will hang up the phone, amazon would never call you like that!!
