Company called Powertec (purportedly) cold calling businesses about poor mobile coverage in area. Couldn't actually tell me what area we were in

Signal coverage. Very vague and cryptic.
Possibly a scam?

Had a phone call from Powertech Australia. She asked for "the manager". Told her private residences don't have managers they have "residents". Rang the number back (after pressing *69) and pressed "one" to go through to Sales. Spoke to HOLLY in Australia in Sales and asked my number be removed from their dialler as they are breaching the Spam Act 2003 by calling me. Lodged a complaint with ACMA.

Yup, just a load of rubbish, wasting my time.

Shame Powertec Australia - Shame! Here I am, hunkered down with cyclone Debbie about to cross the coast waiting for return calls form neighbours when this mob called about poor mobile coverage in my area. "Which area is my area?" I asked. They replied, "we would not be calling you if we did not know your location". Again I asked which area. They could not tell me my location. I told them where I was and what was happening - but regardless they went on with the sales pitch spruiking about providing personalised service. So typical of today's multi-national companies.

Had this number just call me I said hello twice but no answer so I hung up how rude not to reply

This number called (07) 5577 0500 and said nothing....I assume it's some scam to get you to call back. Why do Telstra allow these?

Had a missed call today. No voicemail left.
