I have a silent number and they're calling me everyday at around 2pm. (07) 5560 4900) How do I block this number on my home phone? Please help, it is very annoying!

I gave these people money now they call me call me several times a day, its a charity so they are permitted to drive you mad, by calling with a dead line when you pick up!!

It is a call center that uses backpackers and casuals passing through to make the calls. The people are not trained and are therefore rude to people because they don't care. The charities out source their call centers to this company. It's a bad idea actually because the peoople call representing the charity and do a awful job of it and the charity looks bad. Please keep this in mind if you are going to abuse a charity over it. The rude people that work in these call centers anger me too!

I received a call from this number saying they were the Guide Dogs Qld and wanting to sell me raffle tickets. It didn't sound right so I rang Guide Dogs Qld who said they had no such raffle and that another group was using their name to scam money out of kind hearted people. BE AWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS

We record the name "Do not answer" in our phone against this and similarly annoying callers. When they ring "Do no answer" appears so everyone at home knows not to bother picking it up.

Just had 5 calls from theae idiots. they just hang up. We are on the DNC register so why are they calling us. Won't donate to their charities and you would think those charities would not be happy about the negative feed back?????

I just had a guy call me from this number saying he was from the leukaemia foundation n asked if i wanted to make a donation, i told him i couldnt afford it n he blew up n said 'wow! You're a bitch! Dont wanna help kids with cancer hey??' I love being abused over the phone, NOT! How freaking rude!!!!

I too have a private number and I am also on the do not call register. This is very annoying - I have these things for a reason, and one of them is to avoid idiots like this calling me. I've had 6 calls in the last month at various times. I don't answer them ever.

One of the phone calls was made to me at 7:40pm - which I find really rude.
Hopefully my email stops the calls - I threatened to complain to the ombudsman too!

Caller said she was from Salvation Army. When I said, "Not interested, thankyou" she argued with me about charities helping people.
I hung up on her.

Just called the number and spoke to a very friendly person how advised it will take about a week to remove our details of their lists. She advised it would take up to a week due to so many different agents they work for.

I can get up to 5 phone calls a day from charities! I don't mind giving to them but its become an annoyance! Especially when they are pushy and don't take NO for an answer!
Has totally turned me off from giving over the phone!

Keep calling my number and hanging up. thanks for the suggestions to block on my iphone. I will use this from now on for several scam callers.

Rang again to be removed from their call list, which I did in Nov 12. I told the lady that I was not happy that we were receiving calls again from them. She said that we shouldn't be getting calls if we are on their do not call list. Not happy.
