Got a call taken by our answer service at 9:08am and it sounded like an elderly person trying to say hello!! Not happy discovering that it's probably just a ploy.

they have been calling me approx. 3 times a day, have answering machine, they ring leave no message then hang up, this time I was able to *10# obtain this no. already on DNC register what good is this service, have concerns about elderly parents wh insist on rushing to answer calls, these people need to be fined & punished, Government needs more power to prosecute

I'm often called by this and similar numbers that never answer or hang up. I called back once and was told I was the one that was rude and bad mannered for asking why they were calling and hanging up on me, he was rather a nasty bit of work

"Charity Marketing Group" is their name !

They called me too.

WHY are they calling me when:

* I have a Telstra Silent Number

* I am on the Do Not Call register

* I have previously complained to the Ombudsman

The Telecommunications, Media and Fund Raising Industries in Australia are running amok!!!

We need a Federal Minister with the balls to put things right with thorough legislation, tough penalties and ensure accountability by ALL parties.

Many of these organisations should be 'deep sixed' permanently.

Too many lazy fat cats, making easy, quick(BIG) bucks, off of other peoples misery and misfortune!!!

Most Government Buffoons didn't even know what 'Broadband' was 12 months ago and 50 percent of them still don't believe there is significant climate change or a need to react to global environmental issues. (2 years ago one of the major parties was 80 percent)

calls all the time some time twice a day never. leaves a message will report to the do not registrar

Have received 2 calls while at work. My elderly mother lives at Gold Coast and worried someone trying to call re her. Not the case. Will definitely register on the Unwelcome List. Great site here thanks for the advice.

They're currently (May 2011) calling re raffle tickets for Guide Dogs

I feel harrassed by this company......I have had a bad back and getting up to answer it is very painful but it stops before I actually get to the phone.

Get calls form this number all the time, get a long pause then they hang up.
Very annoying as they call my business number.
