I haven't picked up the call though. I googled up the number and i can see many comment's it is Scammer.

it's doing the rounds again, weird though that i had the number blocked but this time it still managed to come through

I have been donating for years, and you can ask for your donation to go to a specific Rural Fire Brigade.

Rang for one cycle (5 seconds) then stopped. Location showed Gympie.

Claims to be Riral Fire Brigade. I live in Qld. Rang me twice. Doesn’t leave message. After reading some complaints here, I tried number today. Recording. Can’t leave message. Said was RFB. Gave 2 alternative numbers to call. Not interested in checking. Blocked.

At the time of your posting of accusations of scammers pretending to be RFS the beginnings of the Black Summer were under way.

After working at QLD major fires I was then deployed to the Bega NSW fires and then the Canberra fires. No pretending was involved.

Not content with my efforts here in Qld I'm so good at it that the NSW prem sent me a citation for my efforts in 2019/20NSW bega fires,... I even had her and all levels of govt fooled as well !!!!!!!!!!! I even got away with it in the Canberra fires too !!!!!

Yeah you can see the RFBAQ beggar on the left in this pic,....... Only a filthy begger would get this dirty.

Then spare a thought for the volunteer firefighters whom whilst you're sitting at your dining room table having dinner,... are going without dinner and risking their lives for the greater good.

Bwwaaa ha ha ha !!!!!!!!!!!!! It's your local council that collects the "rural fire levy" and (theoretically) passes it on to the relevant fire brigade,.. not to the RFBAQ. Such notions are that of a total dunderson. I bid you good day Sir Joe Bogansaurus Dunderosa.

After being at the Peregian Springs BIG BBQ, Widgee/Gympie BBQ and many others here in Qld I was invited to a BIG BBQ in the Bega region NSW and also a BIG BBQ in Canberra,.......... so yes,.. it's all about those BBQ's. Pity though that so many had to die and over 3,000 homes were lost so that we could have a BBQ.
