Was a scam. Already looked up the number and knew it was a scam so I thought I'd go along with it, since I haven't had a licence or a car in 5 years. If anyone gets a call just play along with the idiot. Abit of entertainment

A guy with an Irish accent said he was calling about my recent report for a motor vehicle accident. When I questioned him and asked what his name was and where he was from he hung up. Called no back and it was engaged. SCAM.

just got this call, irish guy, from Brisbane.
I rang it back and he said it was a follow up from a car crash. I hung up.

I answered with my name - thinking it was a work call. Male Irish voice just giggled and asked for me by name again - then hung up.

Called mobile number - when answered, just hung up.

I also received a call today and last week. Probably the same Irish guy and talked about a collision. I am wondering how he got my number. I recently just bought (in Redcliffe) and sold a car(to a dealer in Eagle Farm).

Did any get the call after you bought or sold a car?

Insisted I'd had an accident, when I asked what type of vehicle was it and said Hilux. I say well that's impossible cause I don't Drive one? Asked him where he was calling from and said Brisbane, then said where did you get my number? He hung up😏 Scumbag

Same scam as others below, Irish guy just called my mobile number, knew my first and last name said he was from Follow Up Services asking about a car accident I had, when I told him I don't own a car he laughed and hung up.

Called about insurance involving a car accident in the last 8 months. Hung up. Irish accent.

This wanker is getting your information from Symbian in Australia... He is just a waste of time. I tried calling this dude but as you know how wankers are? Wankers! First called me about whether I was involved in an accident or not. Take it as Scam too.

Just received a call from "joe" he asked
for me by name. I didn't confirm but said where are from and what do you want? Answer was he was following up on a possible accident I reported. I answered yeah right what do you want? Funny how he hung up on me! Brisbane number but no one is from "the follow up department". Follow up from where??? SCAM. Do not answer and block the number.

Called & didn't say where from. I asked 3 times - he knew my name & said he was investigating regarding a recent car accident I was supposedly involved in. I said I hadn't been in an accident of any kind & again asked where he was calling from. He sort of apologised & hung up immediately. WEIRD !!!

Called amd as I answered went to voice mail saying none of our technicians can help you. GOODBYE- VERY STRANGE!

I just had a call just now regarding a motor vehicle accident - which I did not have - I searched the number online and came across this - bloody scams - when I questioned who he was he hung up.
