Got a missed call on my mobile. Called back and was hung up on.

Sounds like a scam for sure after reading the previous comments.

I have permanently blocked this number on my iPhone.

Missed their call disconnected when I tried to return it.

Spam. fullstop. mention to them you have made a report to the ombudsman and you have a reference number. make sure you mention the term 'nuisance call' and they won't call you again

Have had a few calls from this number, but they only call on our business line; When they tell me they are doing a survey, I advise them that they've called a business line and they apologize and hang up.

I have this number calling me everyday today was the first time I actually spoke without hanging up. They asked me all the questions above and then said I need to confirm your address and they had the wrong name and everything so I hung up on them. then I googled and this came up and then at the same time he rang back and I told him to not call me again as I know this is a scam and then i hung up on him

I have also had a number of calls from this number - total scam. I would never give out details or answer questions from something that seems so suspect

Just had a missed call from the above mentioned number, when calling back it says: "Optus advises that the number you have called has been disconnected."

A lady called today from this number quoting she's from Aussie Choice asking for few survey questions - If I think the costs of living is high and faster than the increase in salary, if I own a property, if I am renting a house, if I think the tax is too high. She insisted a yes/no answer even when I told her off that I haven't even agreed to participate in the survey and also not going to provide any personal information. must be a scam..

got a missed call from this number 10 times

Just had a call from this number. The guys accent was so heavy I had trouble understanding him. He told me he was sending me a $200 shopping voucher and it was ok he had my address. When I asked him what that was he quoted an old address of mine.
He then asked me "do you think the cost of living has gone expensive" I questioned his grammar and also for what period, this week, last week, last year and then he groaned and hung up. Such fun!

This number calls every second or third day asking questions how much do you earn, what do you think the cost of living is etc etc two days pass here they call again, I just ignore them very enoying!!!

Just got a missed call from this number.

I got a call from these people today saying, we have a few questions to ask you about every day living at the end you'll get a $52 shopping gift voucher to use anywhere. As soon I had answered the last question, the lady said ok thank you have a good day bye, and shut! I was so furious. Not at the fact I didn't get the voucher, more at the fact how they are trying to fool people and make a joke out of us. Desperate people! I want to take this further but don't know how to!

A woman called me today from this number and I knew immediately that this is a scam call. but I was curious and listen what she had to say. She asked me questions like "if I think that the cost of living has increased", "if I'm owning a house", "if my income is under or over $80,000", that's when I said, that it is not their business and still she said, that I have "won" a gift voucher of $250! Strange though, I never gave her my address! Very dodgy!

As like comment above, had a missed call, rang back and said it was disconnected. Telemarketing I'm sure!

for the past 3 weeks i have been getting calls from this number (07) 3844 4484 i answer then it beep at me then hangs up or i get a miss call up to 3 times a day has anyone got any ideas aswell i'm calling optus to find out who it is i've put a block on it on my phone so hope i don't get calls
