Received call on new iPhone only registered days ago, a young male Australian voice said he was "Josh here" and "I'd like to speak to [insert Christian name]" to which I replied "speaking" upon which the little cock-sucking 'twink' hung-up. I then text messaged a woman I thought may've given out my new number & laid the accusation on her. Within 60 seconds I got an additional call from 0487 654 703 from a west-Asian gentleman who spoke to me as if he was an old friend asked me to confirm my name & address then proceeded to assure me if I were paying off a mortgage he'd be able to educate me how to right at least half on tax rebates. I told him I'd buy whatever he was selling if he could guess my vocation & I'd even provide a couple of hints. I've never paid tax & movies like "Traffic" & "Sicario" are industry specific to the vocation of my employees. He apologised & rang off. Haven't been called by either number again but conflicted whether I should pay someone to alert the Security Services that a Salafi-extremist terror/fund raising cell is currently using both the above & mobile numbers so they also will never bother anyone else again either.

Called me 3 times during work hours, when I finally answered an Indian lady spoke. She said she was wanting to confirm some details about instalments being paid into a super fund. I asked her to stop calling and that I am not interested, She went on to say quite rudely that this is the first time she has called me. I replied no this is not and could you kindly stop contacting me and hung up.

sounds a little scammy to me

Lady with a thick accent knew my name and told me she was from "POI Services". Got really annoyed with me when I wouldn't play along and hung up. Surprisingly POI Services doesn't actually exist. Definitely recommend messing with them to waste their time.

I am NEVER doing another survey again - whether it is legitimate or not (turns out the Aldi one I did was fake - realised too late!).

I am also NEVER answering my phone again unless I am 100% certain of who is calling. All other numbers are going immediately to my blocked calls app.

Called numerous times over the last few days - including 4 today. When I decided to answer a female (Indian?) answered and thanked me by my first name for finally picking up the phone. Despite not recgnising the number or answering the call with my name they must have listened to my voice mail message or have my details. Said she was from Guardian Insurance and something to do with my Super - despite not being at all linked with Guardian in any way. Absolutely disgraceful. I hung up.
