Thank you! They called last night, but my phone was switched off. I don't know too many people here in Australia, so your site is the first place I check unknown numbers. Thank you so much for the advice.

Received a call from them and my phone number is on the Do Not Call Registry, He tried lying to me saying he called the wrong number.. F***ing scamming pieces of sh*t.. I abused him and told him to Never call this number again.. If I get a phone call from another telemarketer I'll give them a piece of my mind.. BTW; He said something about a mortgage.. I didn't answer any of his questions..

Had a missed call from this number. Thank you to everyone here for the comments.
Warning to all- do NOT verify your name and DO NOT say 'yes' at anytime there is a new scam going around where they record you saying 'yes' and then later on they keep the recording and say you agreed to purchasing their items. Google "can you hear me scam" it shows how they scam people :-(

This number is calling my 11 year old son on his brand new number. Called them back to tell them that. Will wait to see if they remove him from the database. Suggest you block this number.

After I confirmed it was me which in hindsight I wish I hadn't said yes he told me he was from an insurance company. As soon as I said I wasn't interested the phone went dead. Rude pr*ck. So sick of these a**holes ringing from landlines or mobiles so that you think it's a genuine call! 😡

The lady started talking about the new super rules. I asked where she got my number from and they said they purchased it from some database... I advised that they'd be breaching privacy... Just be cautious with these grubs. Don't tell them anything at all. Too much fraud is happening in Australia at the moment.

Got a couple of calls from this number. Answered the first time but they hung up. It is a Brisbane number. I the googled the number and found some feedback on Reverse Call Australia about scammers/telemarketers. This feedback confirms it. Blocked the number. They just rang and instead recorded a voice message, not intending to listen to it. By the way, I got a few emails asking me to participate in a Woolworths Survey, Coles survey which looked suspicious and I also marked as spam in my email inbox. Spooky how this people get info. Take care people! And please
keep up with the feedbacks/updates on this one

Called me and requested to speak to "Greg" the name I put on all my generic sign-ups. Data selling is rife. And calling to sell insurance is so wrong if they were to get someone who was vulnerable to such calls.
