I am in New Zealand and this number (with Australian prefix) rings at least once a day! I screen all my calls so never pick up.

Yes, it appears to be a call centre for spamming people to donate. I've add the number to my phone's blocklist.

I spoke to a guy (calling on behalf of WWF) from that number who says he's working for a company who then works with charity groups who would probably pay this telemarketing company to call and ask for donations. So the charities are basically chasing there tail because they would spend money on paying this telemarketing company who then look for people to donate money to the charity.

I am also on a dnc register. Obviously a scam if they are saying they are different charities when ppl call them back.

If the scammers register as a charity (which the Apple [NOT computers] Marketing Group did) then they are exempt from the DO NOT CALL Register.

Complete harassment. I have been called so many times and I refuse to answer. I have kept the phone logs too. I'm guessing from these posts it's the lost dogs home. I've been harassed previously despite donating 40 a month to them. I might answer next time and if its the home I will cancel the donation altogether.

They have rung me 3 times today. I have their nbr barred in my mobile but they are now ringing my home phone so it's been barred on that but they still keep trng. They ring constantly for awhile
then stop but they keep coming back. Used to answer them but they won't take no for an answer.

I have just got 3 calls from this number in the last 30 minutes. When I called back it went to an automated message to say that they were collecting for a charitable organisation but I could not leave a message. I am on the do not call registrar. Very very annoyed.

It's probably one of those companies that the charities hire to get donations. They are usually backpackers. I don't pick up when a number I don't recognise comes up on the phone.

Sadly I have stopped donating to charities now that I know they hire these sorts of companies who receive up to 100% of your donation. Yep - sometimes the charities get NOTHING from your monthly donation.

Answered a call from this number today, they said they were from World Wildlife Fund & wanted to speak to my husband. This number is not on wwf website, will not be answering in future.

I have had many missed calls everyday from this number.
I agree that we all need to report this spam.
Hopefully that would put a stop to it.
