Yes a scam, say they are calling on a 'personal matter'.

random call looking for info on one of your neighbours. Wouldn't tell us who they were, said they had got our number from public records and called us because we lived in the same street as person. It appears they are debt collectors but feel they have no right to call to get info on someone else. In my opinion a total breach of our privacy

They hung up once I gave ref number

This number randomly calls people and seems to be a scam of some kind , dont call back as it seems suss as I was cut off every time i tried calling number.
