I returned a call from (07) 3518 1903 but reached vm for Market Research

scam - asked me about my next metre reading and when i wouldnt say yes they hung up

They didn’t leave a message so I didn’t ring back

"Steve" said he was from electricity comparison company, asked if I was electricity account holder. He called me by my known name, which differs to my official name, so knew it was not through legit channels. I was not answering any questions, asked him for the purpose of the call and he hung up.

I said hello. No reply. Ao i hung up

Just rings until voicemail. No message left. When answered hangs up.

Caller: scammer

threatened government legal action due to tax records issue unless I do as they want.

Caller: Don’t know

When I answered , they put the phone down.

They called and didn’t leave a message.. I’ll go with the other comments that it must be a marketing call. Blocked now

some snoozer ringing about electricity rates that have 'recently gone up'.. well duh, I thought they had gone down... upside they did speak reasonable Engrish

They hung up on me when I answered. Rude!

Long delay whilst the caller answered - dead give away that they have a bulk auto-dialling system. Some guy said he was calling about 'electricity and gas services'. Obvious spam/scam.
