they called asking if i had entered any competition in the newspaper and somehow they got ahold of the name of a family member. Seems to be a scam.

Answered and heard a whiny voice saying hi I'm from the Herald Sun. Googled herald sun, its in Melbourne, but call came from local qld number.

I been receiving calls from this number and when I answer the phone they hang up and if I don't answer the phone they do not leave a message

they keep ringing as soon as you answer they hang up

Seem to get calls consistently from this number outside of office hours, don't answer them and they never leave a message. Definitely worth blocking!!
