Just recieved a call from (07) 3128 1410 and they said because I've been using the number for a long time I can get a free phone and cheaper plan then they hung up.

Indian lady called telling me i was entitled to a new 4g smartphone because I've had this number for a long time. When i asked who she was and which company she was calling from she didn't answer and kept on with her story so i hung up.

They rang me too. Girl said her name was Lisa (im sure it wasn't though)
I told them to call me back after they asked me for my license no. and rang Optus. The bloke there told me they are a scam.
Lisa hung up on me when she called back and I told her about optus :)

Called saying the same as above comments. Figured it was a scam.

Have received a number of calls from this number today. After telling them im not interested, the man became aggressive and told me its a scam and they wanted all of my money. They then called back when my partner came home. Partner answered and spoke to jeff from 'optus' who was going to give him a brand new android phone. We asked if we could get a samsung s8 (non existant as yet) and they said it wouldbe $175 per month and they can post put asap. Once we caught them out on it, jeff said he was going to hunt us down and kill our family. These people are f@$#ed.

Just got a call from this number telling me he was from Optus I was able to get a free phone. When I said I didnt need a new phone he said I could give this one ot my partner and have the new one. When I said I was single and no I didnt need a phone he started getting invasive and asking why I was single - I told him that was a bit personal and he said well I am not asking for your bank details why are you single. obviously I hung up on him. Just gross.

number always calls me saying i'm going to be send a new 4G smart phone. Knowing it was a spam I kept talking eventually they ask my name, adress and other details all fake were given i told them i lived on the moon and the man went crazy swearing told me that he hopes my mother dies ect.. before of this number

Got the same spiel as above from an Indian lady, saying that they're going to send me a new mobile at "no cost to me," but as soon as I told them that I still had 24 months left on my contact, they mysteriously hung up!! I wonder why????????😅😅😅

After 20 mins sales rep finally convinced me they were from Optus and offering upgrade for 4G network. Got to contract and they threw in 'Real-sim will now handle your billing'. Wait, what? Checked out their website. They are legit telco but fraudulent and illegal sales tactics. They will tell you any lie to get a customer. Probably a Skype Number.

Just received a call from a man claiming he is from a Optus wholesaler. He said I was entitled to a free android phone as I have had this number for a long time. He asked if I'm prepaid or plan, I told him that I am not giving out any information then he said you have to and hung up.

a man rang me today from this number and said I was entitled to cheaper plan. Said he was
from Optus and asked me personal questions about my living arrangements. Asked me if I was happy with my partner and I don't have a partner. I hung up on him

just got a call from some indian guy saying that he is from optus and if I don't change to 4g he is going to disconnect my number then hung up SCAMMMER

Received a call from this number saying I have used it for a long time and now entitled to a free android. I said not interested thanks, she kept talking so I said no and hung up.

Just had a missed call from this number just now and googled. Good thing I did.

i had the same from a male - $29 Optus plan and when I corrected from prepad to contract - was called a 'M...F ' and so I hung up. Reported to Optus

Just received a call from this number claiming that I have won the latest brand new Android mobile phone. Called me by the wrong name and insisted that the incorrect name was ACTUALLY my name. When asked which phone, they could not tell me because they didnt know. Kept asking me for information about my account. If they were calling from my service provider, all these details would be known to them.. When i highlighted this to the lady, she told me to stop asking and let her speak. So i hung up!

just had a call twice from a female saying because I have had this Telstra number I can get a free mobile phone but when I said I was skeptical and was happy with my phone she hung up.

Wow, I quickly googled the number as I was on the phone to them. Lucky I read this. The lady assured me that they didnt need any bank details or personal details but then wanted to know if I was on a pre paid or plan. Then just hung up when I started asking questions.

I just received a call Lisa from this number and they offered me a "great" deal from Optus. When I asked them what the deal was she put her supervised on and then abused me!! Beware people
