I would urge everyone who gets a call from these scammers to submit a complaint to the NBN Co. on their contact page

I told the NBN about this on their feedback form. The caller was Australian, claiming to be from the NBN.

First "calling on behalf of the NBN" then I asked - are you actually calling *from* the NBN? Yes yes I am. Oh, but before you said you were calling on behalf of... Yes we're the NBN. So what's the name of your organisation? The National Broadband Network, we're a government agency. I said, I don't believe you - this sounds like one of those scam calls. If you're wanting that information (as others have said, how many mobiles blah blah) then you can ask me in writing. She was trying to talk over me, to get the info over the phone. I said send me something in writing, you'll have my business address, and hung up. Liars.

Posing as NBN, saying the NBN was used in my area for the backed of mobile towers and landline. I asked her how that worked, she said she didn't know.

I asked her when the NBN will be rolled out in my area, she said 6 months, which also took me by surprise.

All she wanted to know was how many landlines and mobile phones were being used, and with which provider. Very dodgy phone call. She also wanted to know my name.

I gave her an e-mail because she said she would send a packet to me. I haven't received anything.

We have the same experience, we have been called by this number constantly, they would say that they were calling from OBC, and then want to speak to the manager (They know manager the name). Every time we told them without knowing what is regarding to we would not transfer the phone, they would say I will call your manager to let him know how rude you are; or they could even tell us that my manager left his wallet in her place last night...

They rang, claiming to be from the NBN, wanting details on our carriers and providers for the rollover - and our address so they can "send" something. I called the number back but it auto disconnected. The NBN is years away from here ....
