Another scam, No message left

Caller: Community Fund Raising/ Community Collective

Scam - Delay to answer, asked ‘who’s calling’ Pretended to be friendly saying they were from Community fundraising / collective hung up on them immediately and blocked the number

called this morning I looked at the number before i answered and saw it was a Qld phone number. switched phone to answering service. no message left. Thanks for this reverse australia service.

These ppl will deceive elderly with dementia and basically scrounge money they cannot afford to lose.The federal govt is complicit because they gave these parasites a charity status.They are as charitable as OMCG
The govt should make this a prerequisite of any party receiving charity status.:!

At least 95% of all donations must be given to the end charity.
They must provide a worker ID number and full name when they call and when they leave a message.They should set up a public online register where we can see who they are and what phone numbers they use to call people on
Not to ring more than once per week.To desist after 3 attempts.To ALWAYS leave a message id-ing themsleves if they reach an answering machine

If the govt cannot stop these daylight robbers or hold them to account, they should pack up, and hand the job to the opposition.

I called them back: "You have called one of Australia's leading charities via the Fundraising Centre. Unfortunately we can't take your call right now......"

Hangs up as soon as I answer. Have blocked them. Am so sick of getting these types of calls!!!

Calls daily, as soon as I finish speaking they hang up. Happens every time

someone called me from this number (07) 3101 8591 and told me they're from Community Collective

Person Hung up after I let call go to message bank & did not leave message. I am sick & tired of non genuine calls & emails I receive in recent weeks. It is very difficult to
pick a genuine call unless I recognise the number.

Called on a weekend with location being Brisbane. Phone call went to voicemail and they didn’t leave a message.

Never do a survey for these scammers. They phoned asking to do a survey about if you're will to donate to different charities. Were nice enough to do their survey but the very next day was the start of many phone calls from different charities looking for money. I get an average of 5-6 calls every day from all different charities. Never do a survey for these people because they will abuse you and give your name and number to every charity there is and your phone will never stop ringing ever again.

Hung up when I answered - have blocked number but no doubt they use many different numbers..................

Recieved a call from this number, left it to go to my answering machine and they hung up. I never answer unknown numbers, if it is important they would hopefully leave a message.
