Recorded message saying it was Amazon Australia and a large purchase had been made on by account. SCAM!!!

telling me a large purchase made this morning and they were concerned and didnt want to process unless I advised .... i said i dont and they transferred me to comeone else who needed to verify to arrange a refund ( umm why? they already said they hadnt taken the payment) I played a long was transferred and first question um mam what device are you using ... iphone android or tablet...
my response is what relevance does this bear advised they were scam artists and better luck next time and ended the call

I just got a call and told him that this was a scam, he hung up immediately

said they were Amazon support, said they would debit 250 dollars account, total scam because i don't have an account.

Scam!! Someone from amazon claiming I’d purchased a $250 gift card and my account would be denoted. Told him he was a scamming A hole and hung up and blocked

Scam; Claiming that my account would be debited for $200.odd for gift card purchases.....I hung up.

I hung up on the call and blocked it as it was a scam

I have been receiving few calls from this number and other landline number once I picked up it was girl and saying same thing and asking what device and card number omg!!! Such a scam.

Left a message about a gift card - definitely a scam.

same here. Gift card for$250. Rang them back, played along, downloaded a quicksupport app which gives you an id number for real purposes to share your phone or their purposes. Strung them along for 55mins. He finally said he will only leave me 5cents in the account for a biscuit lol

I’ve just received this call today it’s automated machine advising on my purchase on Amazon, this is Fraud!!! Hoping that this is gonna be investigated to stop scamming people!!!

Keeps calling my mobile saying they're from Amazon wanting confirmation of items I purchased with my credit card. I blocked the number now they are texting me.

Beware of this scam. They want you to provide details of your credit card.
