Same as everyone else, dodgy call about winning a mobile phone. I was very polite in telling him to f*** off, but he hung up on me! I went to call them back and sat on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. Dodgy as!!!

Called claiming to be from optus with free phone, told them I wasnt interested and they hung up straight away.

Said they were from VIA mobile. Called on my mobile. Tried ringing back. No one answered. Suspecting call was made from Queensland. Regard this as spam.

Lady with Indian accent called saying she was from Optus and offering me a new phone as I was "such a good customer". I told her to get stuffed and that I had just bought a new phone 6 months ago and to take my number off their list. Let's hope they don't call back.

Received a cold call on my mobile claiming to be from Optus and offering a free Nokia phone and a plan for a certain amount a month. Checked with Optus and they have no such plan.

VIA claiming to be Optus again, offering me a free camera phone.

Optus giving away a free phone. Then they hung up. They also couldn't speak very good English, I think it was a Brisbane number

Totally annoying, tried calling back to complain but goes to a seemingly bogus message service.

Had these c@@ts call me asked and i asked for the a website to verify terms and conditions and the call was terminated by the caller. They called back another 4 times to talk the same sh*t wtf

Scam callers. Tried to get personal information over the phone. Wouldn't trust it.

same as Scott, I had four missed calls from this number over three days, when I answered it they identified themselves and told me they were from Optus and I had won a new phone. I suspected scam straight away and hung up on them. Rang Optus and they were familiar with these calls, nothing to do with Optus

Scam Call, pretending to be from Optus.

Claims to be from Optus but turns out they're with a rival carrier called VIA, scamming people into signing new plans in the belief they are staying with Optus. They get quite abusive when they get caught out lying. Avoid these scammers.

Yes. I got a spam call too saying they are from Optus. Same scam call. Beware.

They called up asking for a friend of mine by name, who never gave them my number, and then in return asked for her number. Said they were from Via mobile.
