Just got one of my favourite afternoon calls. You know the one's ATO, LED lights , Sheriffs office with a warranty for arrest and so on. Had my usual play with the caller who was helping me with my computer that was corrupted. I told her I had commodore 64 was that OK. She then told me to press the control key. After a bit of banter and some fun (on my end) I told her not to call again. I hung up. She called me back immediately and told me off because she was trying to help me. I told her I don't have a computer. She told my I was a liar - YOU ARE A LIAR. Yes she repeated it louder. She had a lovely accent not unlike the accent of residents of Latitude 20.593684 and Longitude 78.962880 If you have caller display this is her number.(07) 3018 7514

I have been getting a stack of calls from this number just lately. I have blocked the number on my mobile as well as they have called it as well and it is still showing as being received and blocked on that as recently as today after I hung up on a call on my landline from them a few minutes earlier. Darned annoying. They have claimed to be from Telstra and Windows Service Dept to date.

Got a call from (07) 3018 7514 claiming to be a service from Telstra and that there is something wrong with my internet connection, a virus has been uploaded when I log onto my computer. Told them I didn't have a computer and the wench hung up. I rang the number back to have music playing only😡

Thanks to all previous posts, I’ve now blocked this number on my landline phone. My phone model is a Panasonic KX-TG7893AZ that displays and logs calls and can block numbers. It can speak the name of the person or the number that is calling you so can elect not to pick up if you don’t recognise the caller. It also comes with a message recorder and a stack of other handy features. If you’re sick of nuisance callers, I highly recommend getting a home phone like mine that can block callers.

just rang me and said he was from Telstra and wanted to tell me my computer was being hacked then after he got annoyed and used abusive language to me not impressed.

Have received several calls claiming to be from Telstra. Indians, Stuart and another said he was Brad Williams, saying my computer had been hacked and suggesting I go to my computer so he could show me what to do...hung up when I said I couldn't go to my computer.

Called three times in last two days. Phishing scam. Claiming to be from telstra. They copped an earful from me but still keep ringing back!

"John from Telstra" strikes again...very rude Indian man telling me about a virus on my computer..when asked to prove he was from Telstra he got very angry and shouted a lot of unintelligible things....kept asking him to prove he was from Telstra..he kept yelling...eventually asked him if he'd like me to just give him my bank account details now so he could stop yelling...he yelled some more...I told him where to go and hung up. He called back...again and again...so I started yelling...its stopped for the moment. Am on do not call register...this number appears to have been active scam number for some years..I guess they'd just use another number if shut down.

Got a call from this number at 07:00PM last night and then again at 07:30 this morning !

Call from this number claiming to be from Telstra wanting me to make changes on my computer. ...um NO! Reported to Telstra and police.

I am from Telsra big pond, from tomorrow you cannot use your internet connection, Stopped her there and told her your a useless scammer, funny how they hung up .

his time was from "Telstra" regarding an internet issue. Pretended I was an old man with no internet and no understanding of what he was talking about. Asked if I had a computer or a laptop. Told him I had neither. He promised Telstra would send me a laptop then hung up.

Have received three calls from this number this week.

Got a call from this number but no one talked, so looks like it is still being used for scamming as at 23/4/16. Telco's should shut it down.

These creeps have called me 3 times in one day..sooooo annoying! Indian voice saying he's from Telstra - isn't there anything we can do to them down and lock them all up !

22/04/2016 - Just had a call from John from "Telstra" claiming my internet would be cut off for 3 months (which is were I hung up) Beware SCAM call.
Called this number (07) 3018 7514 and got on hold music, no identification prompts at all - PUR SCAM call.

Just had a call from this number claiming (Indian accent) to be "John" from "Telstra" and my internet would be cut off for 3mths (at which point I hung up) dialled the number back and got hold music, no identification messages. BEWARE their trailing again.

Lots and lots and lots of calls from this number. I always screen the phone nowadays but they have never left a message so I have never bothered ringing them back. Get about 2 day on average. After reading the complaints here - I will just block them on my handset. I was getting lots of calls previously from a different number, when I blocked it, I started to get these ones.
