Another nuisance caller... likely a socialist organisation that is only capable of survival by pesting the public with unsolicited calls begging for cash. Scum bags. Block them and if they continue with their harrassment, buy yourself a metal whistle and blast their ear drums... works every time.

You are incorrect. People are entitled to have their "DO NOT CALL" status respected. Entitled types like you are incredibly arrogant.

They called me twice and hung up on their first call. Second time there was a women that said it was a survey ("media research"). Wanted my email after i gave her my age range, postcode and suburb but felt suspicious when she kept stumbling on her words even though she spoke good english. Not sure if she was new to the job, but made me feel uncomfortable and suspicious to give out anymore information.

They are subject to the do not call rules as it is harassment if they are told to cease calling. Have at least six calls a week from (07) 3016 7666 and range from market surveys to excess payment for an accident. Last one that actually talked when I answered hung up quickly when I blew a whistle in the handset...hope the subcontinental is deaf in that ear!

DO NOT ANSWER! They are telemarketers. They keep calling non stop. At ridiculous hours. And when you answer, you can't understand them anyway.

IPSOS research called and asked "How are you?"

Now I thought that that was a strange thing to be surveying people about but I told them that I was fine and hung up.

I hope it helped their survey.

Have some respect for emergency services

Posted on November 13, 2016

I keep getting these calls which I've told them in the past that the number that they are calling me is used for emergency service (ambulance). They keep calling, which could lead us from missing an ambulance call which could have an adverse reaction if we can not respond in time to a patient. Please have some respect as you could be responsible by a coroner.

Just block the number on your mobile. Easy. But before you go off at them - these people who call you are trying to make a living doing a legitimate job. If they are on NewStart, get offered a job as an outbound telemarketer and refuse it they will lose their benefits.

Complain to the company concerned, or your local member of parliament if you see these calls as an issue to seek them be ambanned ir subject to the Do Not Call Register. There is no need to be rude to the person calling. If you answer, politely say "I'm not interested " and hang up. They will stop calling.

Unfortunately if you don't answer and don't have the number blocked in your mobile, your number goes back into the pool of numbers to be called again at another time.

I get calls to my mobile phone every month from this number. So I have listed them in my contacts as "Do Not Respond". I simply ignore the calls...
