Caller: Said call was fro. Telstra

Heavily accented voice, difficult to hear clearly. Seemed to be telling me that my mobile number, held for 10 yrs, was illegal. I asked that he text me as I could not understand him. No text has been sent. .this was at approx 2.00 pm Brisbane time. Presumably this is another scam

Recorded message claiming to be Paypal, asking me to approve purchase of Apple gift cards worth $899. Press '1' for yes, '2' for no. Don't press anything!

Dead air if you don't say a word (never say "YES"). Obvious phisher.

Caller claimed to be calling from Telstra (lying scum bag). He had a heavy accent from a sub-continent somewhere. He told me that he could see a lot of red flags on my internet use (lies again as I am not even with Telstra). After stringing him along for nearly 5 minutes he hung up on me. Shame.

Hangs up after answering. Called 3pm est

Caller: Claimed to be from PayPal

Looks like a scam. Recorded Australian voice said they had a debt which I could approve or decline via Press 1 etc. I don’t use PayPal so have hung up and blocked the caller.

Call centre sounds. Claiming to be from NBN wanting to upgrade my connection. “Could you please tell me if there is a light on in your modem?” Hung up.

An Indian guy claimed he is from CBA and noted there was a transaction of $499 been transferred from my account to overseas. They will put it as fraudulent transaction if it is not done by me.

Caller: Claimed to be PayPay

A lady with a beautiful Australian accent claimed there was a possible unauthorised overseas online transaction for $799. I was given the option of 1) press one of you want investigation 2) press two if not. I pressed neither and checked my PayPal account . Nothing showing. Be careful.
