I received sms with following msg. I had been looking into similar services so initially thought may be legit, thankfully suspicion won & blocked it. How is this not illegal?! It nearly got me, imagine how many elderly are sucked in!?

I received an sms message today from 0491 640 886 is:
"Hi............, ever been injured in the past? At work? On the road? Check your compensation benefits here: go-site.cc/NSW10?383 Not a scam.
Reply 'STOP' to opt-out'

I said, 'Who is this?'
surprise....surprise no answer.

Unknown number, Ive never had an issue/run-in with police. Believe this is SPAM/SCAM, received below message:

Spam message trying to get me to reply STOP, or click a link, which I’m assuming is malicious.

Caller: Don’t know

Scam. SMS telling my “your N A B account has been locked...” blah blah blah including a link. I don’t have N A B!!!

Text message trying to scam me into providing a id to an internet banking account I don't even have.

Caller: Text scan message

Text sent from this number saying my bank account has been locked (NAB) and I need to click on the link they sent through immediately.
Huge scam, block this number immediately.
