This number was used on Neighbours, Gary Cannings number!
It has to be a dead number if they show it on a Soapie!!!

This number rang me first (I just missed answering it) and as I was actually expecting an important call, I rang back. The recording said 'numbr disconnected'. However, as I was getting this message, the same number rang on my husbands phone. The caller eventually indicated they were from a 'Solar Power company' (yeah right). I think it's straight up SCAMMERS. Number now blocked on both our phones...

Why in this day and age the Tele comunications Watchdog can not trace and prosecute these fraudulent people

Caller: Calling themselves the 'options team regeneration unit'

Call multiple times using different numbers, have been harassing my mother several times a day. Block and don't bother calling back (or ideally answering, if you don’t know the number).

Actually, ideally they'd just take a long walk off a short pier, they're a waste of perfectly good oxygen and owe a LOT of trees heart felt apologies!! :(

Recieved call from 0491 570 156 with the name Sam Liyanage. Googled name and CEO of American airlines and some tea factory cane up along with several others. Googled number and came across 45 complaints had already been lodged on this site. Glad I didn't answer. Was able to block number. If you recieve a call from a number you don't know, dont call back from your mobile, if you really want to find out who rang, call from a landline or work number as when you call from your mobile you are validating your number and then on-selling your phone number to other scammers.

Keep trying to call me, when I answered they hung up, then I phoned it back and he answered "Hello Craig speaking" apologized for ringing me by mistake. How do you do a mistake several times. Very wierd

They said they were calling on behalf of Sian…..dumb move to use my name! So I replied”oh! Your the brothel for my male giggalo! Where the hell are you, you were supposed to be here half hour ago!” They hung up!

These numbers are issued by the Australian Govt for film and television use and are frequently used/spoofed by scammers.
