Caller: telemarketer or scam caller

The number came up on my mobile, but as it was an 'unknown' number, I didn't answer. If the caller wants to speak to me, they will leave a voicemail. No voicemail was left, so I did what any normal suspicious person does - I added the number to my black list.

Spam. Marketing. When I called back it was a recorded message asking me to stay on the line and answer questions. As if.

Spam about survey on ACT election.

Caller: Survey call

Unknown number to me so I didn’t answer. Left a prerecorded message saying it was a survey asking for my gender.

Missed call, they left voice mail which stated :for research purposes, press 1 for male and press 2 for female: blocked number.

No response when I picked up. I hung up after 5 secs & blocked caller.

Automated message - "sorry - application error, goodbye".

I rang back the number 0488 853 829, spoke with someone who hung up right away
