Didn't pick up unknown number

WOAH! DO NOT ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK. Called back which I never do for unknown numbers and they answered straight away saying they are from national reporting agency, they had my wifes name and said they had some information from the govenrmet on super policy changes. I said it was strange that the gov would be calling me from a mobile number... She replied: clearly we are not getting anywhere with this call and hung up.

I rang back and asked indepth questions which they should have been able to answer. they kept repeating a scripted sentence until I backed them into a corner and they hung up

I returned a call from 0488 825 389 and spoke with someone who didn't mention the company name

I couldn't hear them, called back... We got your number from a do not call list.

... So my numbers on a do not call list & you decided to call me? They hung up
