Marketing call - they ask if we are under 58 years, earning an income etc because they can help save taxes and maximise benefits - invited us to a seminar, when we said we couldn't go, they offered to send someone to our home for a one on one consultation.

Got pushy at the end, selling "great financial benefits" if we met with them ... sounded very desperate and did not get a good vibe, I ended the call.

Called me by name and said he was calling about entitlements myself or my partner may be eligible for if we are currently working. Said he was from 17 Castlereagh Street near Martin Place Sydney? Strange to call from a mobile and also strange that there was a delay when I answered. Usually happens from overseas calls? Have blocked the number!

Answered, long pause, male voice said hello and Called me by someone else’s name (possibly previous owner of my number before I took it over) so I told them him he called the wrong number and then I blocked the number he called

This is a real low life took my contact detail for the government updated my numbers to this number0488 824 434 not impressed

I have this number call me every days 0488 824 443,0488 824 450, 0488 824 457,
I never answer them , I just block them.

Marketing SCAM!! Rang and said something about qualifying for some tax benefit etc. Said I wasn't interested but she kept talking so i hung up.

Caller: Scammers

They say they are from the Australuan Benefits Program (ABP) and that if your household earns under X amount etc you can get extra tax benefits saving you thousands. I played along, found out we qualified for the extra tax cuts and someone would be in touch. The next day a Ken Hawkin(g)s rang from 0402 984 695 and the funny thing is I told him I had spoken to our accountant and he knew nothing of this and there was nothing on ATO website when I was told there was in the original call. Of course he said not many knew if it and they are helping my family. WZnted to come to our home to discuss it all. Told him we were not interested and not comfortable with the whole thing and a few days later got another call from another supposed ABP employee. I told her it was a scam and she got very irate.
First caller very friendly and we had a great convo and she made me think it may have been legit at first. Second caller a bit sketchy and third caller a down right bitch!

I can’t believe this is legal, to have a number and not be accountable for it. This number rings me wakes me up as a shift work , long pause no nothing then hangs up. I’ve been rung it back all day 4 rings then disengages. NOT HAPPY . No accountability

Australian girl offering a cruise deal because I subscribe to cruise deals via mail. Was lovely and not overbearing. I explained I was renovating and wouldn’t be able to afford a cruise for sometime. She was lovely, did not try to oversell and wished me luck with the Reno’s. Was nice to hear an Aussie voice I could understand from a telemarketer. Not pushy, pleasant.

IGNORE, scam caller

Aggressive, Scam? Was sketchy about the reason for the call upfront. Distracted me with irrelevant information delivered condescendingly to keep me on the phone. Call about reductions on income tax if redirect tax into superannuation or onto a mortgage. As I didn’t expect to be working in the next 5 years I was told I didn’t qualify. What I didn’t qualify for I have no idea. DODGY!!!!

A gentleman phoned from this mobile to mine at 6:55pm. Knew my name, obtained my number through marketing Wanted to know that me and my partner expect to be working for the next 5 years in order to redirect income tax into superannuation or mortgage accounts. Advised I do not expect to be working for the full next five years and therefore did not ‘qualify’ for anything further.

Called me by name. I said how do you have my number they said blah bah marketing. He is supposedly based in Martin Place. He really didn't want me to hang up on him so obviously wanted to get paid
