Caller: 0488 824 160 Every time you get a call or email or text offering prizes and gift cards report them on www.scamwatch.gov.au because that's the only way to get the government to take notice and arrest the scammers. This reverse phone website is great but the government doesn't check it.

ALL texts, emails and phone calls offering gift cards are scams. Report each one to the government's official watch dog website www.scamwatch.gov.au. The more complaints, the more the govt will be pressured to hunt down the criminals. This reverse phone lookup website is great for keeping the general public informed so please keep reporting scams here as well.

Caller: 0488 824 160 Got a text supposedly from Australia Post to do a survey. We did not click the link or reply. Australia Post is a government department & no government department gives gift cards for anything. Please report this & any other similar texts, emails, etc., to the government's report a scam Website https://www.scamwatch.gov.au.

Same as other posts. So far, have offered gift from Post Office, Woolworths and Coles. Don't click on site...probably trying to obtain bank details.
