Scam with Superannuation. number is 0488 813 002. I use an ios app called number sheild and blocked all numbers with 0488 813 xxx

Massive nuisence. 12 calls this week.

Keep calling on 04888 numbers, I've blocked 4 so far

Same MO as has been reported in these posts however contact indicated Superannuation Advice Australia as the company involved. Call came from 0488 812 435

I got a call from the same 'business name', with the same MO, but using the number 0488 825 480.

Caller did not want to clearly say her business name, so I had to ask several times (red flag #1). She said she was calling about superannuation and that the government was going to take away my insurance (red flag #2).

As well as my phone number, the caller had my name. She wanted more personal information to see if I 'qualified' (red flag #3), and when I said I was concerned about giving it out to someone I did not know, she threatened to hang up if I don't just give her the information (red flag #4). I said I would answer as soon as I finish looking up their ABN to check she's legit, and then she hung up on me (red flag #5). A real business would have waited for that, so I'm 100% sure this is a scam.

They also new my name and number, reckon the government wants everyone to know the changes happening to super

Scam, new my first and last name. Blocked the call 0488 823 117. Sounds Americian/ Phillapino.

Wanting to discuss changes to Superannuation.
I explained will contact my Super company to discuss the changes happening to Super and not comfortable talking with to outbound call centres.
I work for a Super company and know there are extensive legitimate changes occurring.
If you haven't received a letter from your Super company in next couple of weeks, I suggest you call them to discuss.

Caller: Venetian Wide Review Team

They have called multiple times with at least 0488 849 305 as one of the numbers, and as I have no message on my phone they seem to think they are talking to me and I do not respond. Two different females have left messages. They sound at though they are from the Philippines. I'm sure I've heard the voices before, about 6 months ago, and they were coming in from various numbers in the Sutherland area of Sydney in the past.

Received call regarding super changes from National Review Team. Explaining changes happening tomorrow due to COVID-19 circumstance. She asked me to answer few "simple" questions, but she couldn't provide further information when I asked her company background.

Said she was from the National Review Team and something about an insurance policy and I had until tomorrow!
She was calling me by my husband’s name.
She was extremely difficult to understand.
I just kept saying No Thank You and then hung up.

This review looks legit! The review comes from the Phillipines, where the mega dodgy call centre that refers people to "Superannuation Advice Australia" another blood sucking financial planning company based in the Gold Coast. I work for an Industry Super Fund so when I received a call, I played along. The information they gave me was incorrect, highly illegal and I have reported them to ASIC. I know that many have been fooled and the Super funds are onto it.

I don't answer numbers I dont recognise and they never leave a message. I I have blocked at least 15 numbers so far. After some investigation it's happening to a lot of people. Here's a link to the other numbers reported.

Got a call from a Female on Thursday 0488 823 626) 1-07-2020 she was calling was about my SuperFun, She told me she was from Nation Wide Review Team. I hung up
The next Day a Male person Called me using the same Number when I asked him where did he get my Name and Number from he hung up

Got a call from 'the national review team' . A very friendly, polite and well spoken female asked if i had recieved a letter from my super recently?

Have I worked in Australia for past 12 years?

Said they will give me a call back tomorrow.

Caller: National Review Team

Female cold called me from 0488 823 676 claiming she was from National Review Team. She stated due to government changes with Superannuation that I may be eligible for their assistance if I answered some questions. I asked for confirmation as to who they were and she stated they were a firm registered with ASIC and after I answered the questions they would send me a text with all the company information. I asked them for a company phone number and she gave me (07) 3088 1758, which goes to a voicemail. National Review Team may be a legitimate company however I do not think this female was calling from them. As soon as I said I would not answer the questions until I understood exactly who they were and why they were contacting me, she could not get off the phone quick enough. Definitely a scam. I blocked the mobile number.

asked if I knew super changes were coming tomorrow and if I had a letter from my super. Then wanted to ask questions. The first was if I was age 27-50. When I said no then said I had to go they said they had more questions but I hung up. Sounds like the same spam caller people were getting above.
