Caller: No idea

Called business number out of hours. Phone rang twice. No voicemail. Therefore, not legit. Probably another overstamped VOIP call from somewhere dodgy.

* Overstamping is the practice of setting a VOIP service to report a calling number which is different to the real calling number. Very easy to do, but illegal in Australia and almost everywhere else. QED: Scammer or other dishonest actor as there is no reason to fake the calling number (CLI).

You do know you can put numbers like this ,on auto reject' This no must have called before because my ph rang once and then it was rejected,,

Rang 3 times in 30 minutes. The 3rd one came just as I was reading the comments on Reverse. Wish they would just take a run and leap, and hope that they get these annoying calls as well, so that they may know how it feels to be constantly annoyed.

Have blocked almost all 0488 822... numbers because they are usually spam calls from idiots overseas trying to either sell something, or do market research. No idea how my number got out there. Annoying af.

Caller from Nation Wide Review Team, pestering about Superannuation Insurance.

I managed to get their ACN number: 636 436 747, whose entity name is NATIONAL ADVICE SERVICE PTY LTD, which goes under numerous business names:

recurrent calls tonight while I was on phone wiht a relative, As we are in the electorate with a pending by election it was probably electioneering .

Received a call from this number and had a delightful conversation turned out that the person on the other end was forced to work 14 hour day 6 days a week. They get lots of abuse from aussies who revel in the excuse of going after someone with an overseas accent. The person I was speaking to wanted to do a different job, but their mother was ill and there wasn’t a lot of work so they had no choice, but to read the scripts and make the calls that they were forced to make. Apparently the guy running the call centre was an Aussie who also abused his workers. Strange old world hey?

Rang left no message 5.30-6.30 now blocked

received calls on my landline from this number around dinner time - one every ten minutes or so. I have not answered and the call hangs up when greeted by my answering machine. We really need a service where you can block numbers coming into your landline, as I would have liked to have blocked this one.

I use Reverse Australia frequently to find out who has called me when I don't recognize the phone number. Thanks to those who have left comments alerting others to these nuisance and scammer calls. Much appreciated!

Precorded survey to ask about covid, JobSeeker, etc. Said they were from UComm. But didn't provide a contact. I didn't want to answer anything as I feared scammers would call me back witg the information provided in the survey.

Rang mobile whilst eating my dinner left no message so I will now block it

I have had my number on the do not call register for years!

Recently I was told that if you go through iSelect and other places like that - they sell off your number - {scum} I use them and other sites to get best insurance deals - may have to do my own research from now on?
