Strange, they wanted to know my marital status and if I was working.

Scammer phishing for personal information. I played with him and he hung up when he realised the DOB I gave made me 150yrs old.

Caller knew my first name. 'Hello xxxxx'

They called, I answered and they used my “scammer trap” name (just a very shortened version of my name) that I put on websites occasionally when online shopping. I said I gotta go and hung up and blocked them. 👌

As others have said, scam alleging to be from local council conducting a survey. I don’t think SA and VIC councils would call different people from the same number…

Common tele call, told them I was on the ACMA no call register and they said they’d delete the number.

Answered and they hung up, tried to call back and it wouldn't connect saying not available.

I didn’t answer the call but when I called back afterwards:
“The number you have called is not available from this service. For further information please contact your service provider.”
