"Hello Mumm/Dad this is my new number. Would you like to save it please?"

This is a scam. Do not send any details and block the number. For me it is probably due to the Medibank Private data breach as my number has never received spam text messages prior to the breach. Thanks Medibank :(

I've already had this message from another number. It says "Hello Mumm/Dad this is my new number. Would you like to save it please?

I got exactly the same message. I don’t think it’s an error.

This is definitely fake

Radom message saying "Hello Mumm/Dad this is my new number. Would you like to save it please?" Don't know if this is yet another scam, or someone has sent it to my mobile phone in error.
