I got this text message:

Sent this message.
"Hi mum I'm tesxting you off a friends phone. I've smashed mine and their phones about to die, can you WhatsApp my new number 61481 608 564 please it's important x"

Scam message from 0410 947 835 quoting this number:

Hi mum, dad Im texting you off a friends phone Ive smashed mine and their phones about to die can you message my new number on WhatsApp 0481 608 564 its urgent x

same scam sms "Hi mum I'm texting you off a friends phone I've smashed mine and their phones about to die, can you WhatsApp my new number 614816028564 please it's important

This is a Scam… starts message as Hi Mum, ask you to add this number on WhatsApp.
Copied this message to my son.. he immediately replied.. Block this number and report this scam. Yep.

Got an sms from 0450 708 546 saying: Hi mum I've smashed my phone. Can you whatsapp me here my new number 0481 608 564. It's urgent please. Scam, be careful.
