Tried to buy tickets off him, but got scammed instead

He called me about my ad on gumtree in regards to wanting a free puppy he then sent photos of puppies an then rang again to break down the costs of microchipping etc all sounded legit then I paid him. An wanted more money then when I refused he asked for drivers licence I still refused as I knew
Found out he lives in Kew, Melbourne area

Hi, I also got scammed by this person. Have you managed to find out anymore details about them apart from living in Kew?. Please share if you have more info. Thanks. Sorry for your experience.

Caller: ‘Tammy Woods’ / (Husband) Michael

They responded to my advertisement on Gumtree for wanting a small puppy.

Trying very hard to get money off me, send me a fake drivers license and a fake address.

I have submitted a report regarding an attempt on fraud relating to this mobile number via scam watch today. Please make a report to the police and
quote this report I made on scamwatch.gov.au and quote this submission reference number: accc-scamwatch:1010300 hopefully there is information I was able to get from this fraudster today that could help you get your money back.

Will have exactly what you want of course! Fraudster.

Sent money but items never arrived
Got suspicious googled number fraudster. Have people looking to pay him a visit if you have any details to assist locate him much appreciated

hi i was scammed for $800 from a male person from this number 0481 150 402 he was replying to my wanted add on gum-tree he said he lived in Denmark WA Andrew Mckay .
total scum bag sent me a false tracking number . Ouch . and i am on a pension

Scammer! Stole $ for non existent tickets.. sent the money then asked for more, obviously knew immediately when they did that I’d be taken. Scum. Do not trust.

Replied to wanted ad on gumtree kept asking for more money biggest con artist I've even come across

Scammer. Responded to a wanted Ad on Gumtree. Wouldn't accept cash on pickup and, say they had no drivers licence to send as a photo and wouldn't accept cash on pickup. When Google image searching the photo they sent my it was from an old eBay ad.

Stay away!

Caller: Identified themselves as Michelle

Responded to a wanted ad I placed. Refused to send me a photo of items. Just wanted me to pay and then would send the items. All the hallmarks of a Scammer on Gumtree.
