Caller: happened to me too, but on an email

an email said, "congratulations Erin!" then advised me to click on a scummy scam site (SSS.) i looked at the email address and it was MY NAME, but with the last @ with, @aol.com. anyone know what this is about??

I received a text as follows:

"Hi *my first name*
Your registration has been approved.
Click here to complete:"

followed by a link on the next line which included "7sn0.com" and a 5 characters after slash.

The fact that they use my first name makes me very uncomfortable because it's not completely random.

Sent many texts - your account will be suspended unless you update your preferences
By 5 pm.
